A kItE oN a SuNnY dAy

This outfit screams FUN....and when I wore it I automatically knew I was going to have a BRIGHT and exciting day.   When you put on clothes, your  outfit should give people a piece of who you are.  I just wanted to have a fun with this outfit and this bright turquoise and purple patterned shirt really gave the outfit the KICK that it needed.

This was a joyous church celebration. There were lots of fun and lots of laughs, but one thing that was undeniable was the wonderful fashion that was on display. Summer is about bright colors and neutrals which was rightly seen on this day. But I think everyone would agree that the best dresses on this day was the elegant Shade' Bakare. She makes turbans and aztec patterns sexy.....yes sir she was rocking this outfit like she was born to be fabulous. That my friends is what fashion is about...effortless is key. Good job shawty!

A rose is ever so SWEET

So this outfit right here was one of my favorite outfits that I ever put together. It was a hot day on the bluff and I just was feeling that Spring fever...if that makes since. I personally love the floral headband and thinks it really makes the outfit. Less is always more and this outfit proves that. =p

This blue blazer right here is one of my favorite staple items. If you know me you know I love me some blazers but this blue blazer is one of the loves of my life. It just turns a regular outfit from drab to FAB in like two seconds. It was pretty cold on the bluff this night so I was pretty bundled up. Thanks to the blazer though I was feeling pretty FEIRCE! =P

Ever have those days when you ask yourself what the crap am I going to wear today? yea that's pretty much the question I ask myself everyday. But today in particular I literally I had no idea what to wear. So what do you do in times like these?  You guessed it! Just randomly put something together and hope that it works. My staple item was the skirt and my roommate just threw me her shirt to top it off and yes Melissa was dressed! ;P

When It's a sunny day outside, what do you do? You put on a summer dress..yeah that's right!  You would think in LA I would be rocking this bad boy all the time but unfortunately my school is on top of a bluff and it's pretty chilly most of the time.  So this was a special occasion. I love summer dresses because they are fun, simple, and free...yea free is the word that comes to mind when I think of this dress!
